House-Garden-Garage
Case Study

This garden design features a patio, vegetable production in raised beds, a pocket lawn, a small pond, and borders of shrubs, perennials, and herbs. These support biodiversity and provide restful and fascinating places for adults and children alike. The v1.1 garage shown here allows the garden beds to run 12’ farther than would be possible with a typical 2-car garage. The patio and walks are made of concrete recycled from the old garage slab. Also note the passive solar optimization of the house via the second floor addition.
